The vibrant green Siberian Green Quartz is actually a lab-created or treated stone, where clear quartz undergoes a process involving heat and possibly the addition of minerals or other compounds to achieve its distinctive green color. This material is different from naturally occurring green quartz variations, which can include Prasiolite, a pale green quartz found in a few locations worldwide, resulting from natural or induced changes to amethyst or yellowish quartz. Siberian Green Quartz's creation in laboratories ensures a high degree of consistency in color and clarity, making it popular for use in jewelry and metaphysical applications. Its scientific composition remains primarily silicon dioxide (SiO2), characteristic of all quartz varieties, maintaining the hexagonal crystal system and piezoelectric properties essential for various technological applications.
